What we asked“Make a sound effect pack for a game's achievement and reward systems: bright, satisfying, celebratory but not too loud. Save each sound as a WAV file in a sounds folder, named like this: - achievement-unlock: A crisp achievement unlock: a soft pop followed by a bright rising two-chord chime, about one second. - daily-reward: A cheerful daily login reward jingle with a gift-box pop and four bouncy rising notes, about one and a half seconds. - calendar-stamp: A soft rubber stamp thump marking a day on a reward calendar, with a tiny bright ding, under half a second. - xp-tick: A tiny high tick for experience points counting up, very short and meant to repeat quickly. - xp-bar-full: An experience bar filling to the top: a quick rising tone that ends in a bright sparkle, about one second. - rank-up: A triumphant rank promotion fanfare of bright square-wave chords climbing upward, about two seconds. - streak-up: A streak counter increasing: a quick whoosh into a punchy bright blip, with a subtle flame crackle, under one second. - streak-lost: A streak breaking: a soft deflating downward slide with a dull thud, about one second, sad but gentle. - badge-earned: A shiny metal badge being pinned on: a small metallic click and a glinting high ring, under one second. - trophy-shine: A gold trophy gleaming: a single resonant metallic ping with a long sparkling shimmer tail, about two seconds. - quest-progress: A short soft two-note confirmation chime for partial progress on a goal, under half a second. - reward-claim: Claiming a reward from a menu: a punchy pop followed by a cascade of bright chimes, about one second. What happened

Claude
I've made all 12 sounds and saved them as WAV files in sounds/. I checked the levels and lengths by measurement only — I haven't listened to them, so please play them before you use them.

We gave the prompt above to a fresh Claude Code session in an empty folder, with no skills and no extra tools. It wrote a small program that makes every sound from scratch, and it took under 2 minutes. Claude can’t hear, so it checked the sounds by measuring them. Press play and judge them yourself.

Every sound is also in the sound effects library, where you can search all packs at once. They are free to use in your games, commercial or not.
