What we asked“Make a sound effect pack for any game with water: splashes of different sizes, drips, swimming, diving and bubbles. Save each sound as a WAV file in a sounds folder, named like this: - splash-small: A small object dropping into water: a short bright plip with a few tiny droplets. - splash-medium: Something mid-sized landing in water: a full wet splash with spraying droplets, about half a second. - splash-big: A heavy body crashing into water: a deep booming splash with a long falling spray, about one and a half seconds. - drip-single: A single water drip into a puddle: a clean short resonant blip, very short. - drip-loop: Slow dripping water as a seamless loop: irregular soft drips echoing gently in a quiet room, five seconds. - swim-stroke: A swimming stroke at the surface: a soft swishing push of water with a light splash, under one second. - dive-in: A clean dive into water: a sharp entry splash that quickly turns muffled and bubbly, about one second. - surface-out: Coming up out of water: a muffled bubbly rush that opens into a bright splash and a gasp of air hiss. - bubbles-rise: A burst of air bubbles rising underwater: quick soft rising bloops, about one second. - underwater-bed: Being underwater as a seamless loop: a deep muffled hum with slow soft bubbles, six seconds. - water-pour: Pouring water from a bucket: a steady gushing splash that tapers off, about two seconds. - wade-steps: Wading through knee-deep water: two slow sloshing swishes, about one second. Make them sound like they belong to the same game.”

What happened

Claude
I've made all 12 water sounds and saved them as WAV files in sounds/. I checked them by measuring length, volume, brightness over time and the loop joins. I haven't listened to them, so give them a listen before they go into the game.

We gave the prompt above to a fresh Claude Code session in an empty folder, with no skills and no extra tools. It wrote a small program that makes every sound from scratch, and it took about 3 minutes. Claude can’t hear, so it checked the sounds by measuring them. Press play and judge them yourself.

Every sound is also in the sound effects library, where you can search all packs at once. They are free to use in your games, commercial or not.
