What we asked“Make a sound effect pack for a cozy potion brewing and crafting game: bubbly, glassy, magical and warm. Save each sound as a WAV file in a sounds folder, named like this: - cauldron-bubble: A thick gentle bubbling cauldron with soft pops, seamless loop of four seconds. - ingredient-drop: A small plop into liquid with a tiny fizz for dropping an ingredient into a cauldron, under half a second. - stir: A slow soft swirling liquid swish for stirring a potion, about one second. - bottle-clink: Two small glass bottles clinking together, bright and short, under a quarter second. - cork-pop: A quick hollow cork pop for opening a potion bottle, under a quarter second. - pour: A short glugging liquid pour into a glass vial, about one second. - mortar-grind: A gritty rhythmic grinding of a stone mortar and pestle, about one second. - brew-success: A sparkling rising shimmer with a soft bell for a potion brewed successfully, about one and a half seconds. - brew-fail: A muffled puff explosion with a sour falling tone for a failed brew, about one second. - craft-complete: A warm cheerful chime with a little sparkle for finishing a crafted item, about one second. - recipe-learned: A soft magical page-turn swish followed by a gentle three-note chime for learning a recipe, about one second. - anvil-tap: A bright ringing hammer tap on a small anvil for crafting, under half a second. Make them sound like they belong to the same game.”
What happened
We gave the prompt above to a fresh Claude Code session in an empty folder, with no skills and no extra tools. It wrote a small program that makes every sound from scratch, and it took about 2 minutes. Claude can’t hear, so it checked the sounds by measuring them. Press play and judge them yourself.
Every sound is also in the sound effects library, where you can search all packs at once. They are free to use in your games, commercial or not.
