What we asked“Make a sound effect pack for a dramatic boss fight: heavy, tense, powerful hits with big moments for each phase. Save each sound as a WAV file in a sounds folder, named like this: - boss-appear: A boss entrance stinger: a deep boom, low brass-like synth chord and rising tension swell, about three seconds. - health-bar-fill: A boss health bar filling up across the screen: a rising grinding tone with fast ticks, about two seconds. - phase-change: A boss changing phase: a reversed swell into a heavy distorted impact and low rumble, about two seconds. - enrage: A boss becoming enraged: a growling low distorted buzz rising in pitch with fiery noise bursts, about two seconds. - charge-warning: A warning that a boss is charging a big attack: a pulsing high alarm tone speeding up, about two seconds. - charge-release: A huge charged beam attack releasing: a bright crackling roar with deep bass, about one and a half seconds. - shockwave: A boss slamming the ground and sending out a shockwave: a deep thud with a widening rumbling whoosh, about one second. - weak-spot-hit: Hitting a boss weak spot: a sharp bright crunch with a high ringing ping, under half a second. - boss-stagger: A boss staggering and losing balance: a heavy metallic clang followed by a descending wobble, about one second. - final-hit: The final blow on a boss: a massive impact that cuts to silence with a long ringing tail, about two seconds. - boss-defeated: A boss being destroyed: a chain of rumbling explosions ending in one huge blast and fading crackles, about four seconds. - arena-drone: A tense boss arena bed: low pulsing drone with distant thumping, seamless loop, about six seconds. Make them sound like they belong to the same game.”
What happened
We gave the prompt above to a fresh Claude Code session in an empty folder, with no skills and no extra tools. It wrote a small program that makes every sound from scratch, and it took about 3 minutes. Claude can’t hear, so it checked the sounds by measuring them. Press play and judge them yourself.
Every sound is also in the sound effects library, where you can search all packs at once. They are free to use in your games, commercial or not.
