Elemental Magic sound effects: 12 free sounds from one prompt
Play 12 elemental magic sound effects that Claude Code made from one prompt. Copy any sound's prompt, or download the pack as WAV files.

What we asked“Make a sound effect pack for a fantasy spellcasting game with many schools of magic: each spell clearly different in color and mood. Save each sound as a WAV file in a sounds folder, named like this: - holy-light: A holy light spell: a bright choir-free shimmering major chord of bell tones swelling upward, about two seconds. - dark-orb: A dark magic orb: a low warbling hum with a sucking reversed whoosh and deep thud, about one and a half seconds. - nature-vines: A nature spell growing vines: soft rustling noise with quick wooden creaks and a gentle rising tone, about one and a half seconds. - poison-cloud: A poison cloud spell: a thick bubbling hiss spreading out with sickly wobbling low tones, about two seconds. - earth-spike: An earth spell: a deep rumble then stone spikes bursting up with a cracking crunch, about one second. - wind-blade: A wind spell slicing forward: a sharp fast whistling whoosh with a thin airy tail, under one second. - summon-circle: Summoning a creature: a magic circle humming and rising in pitch, ending in a deep boom and sparkle, about three seconds. - curse: Casting a curse: a dissonant descending wobbly tone with a dark low pulse, about one and a half seconds. - teleport: A teleport: a quick shimmering inward suck then a bright pop as the caster vanishes, under one second. - spell-charge: Charging up a spell: a steady rising humming tone with soft sparkles, seamless loop of about two seconds. - spell-fizzle: A spell failing: a weak sputtering crackle that fizzles out with a small puff, under one second. - mana-empty: Trying to cast without enough mana: a short hollow low double blip, under half a second. Make them sound like they belong to the same game.”
What happened
We gave the prompt above to a fresh Claude Code session in an empty folder, with no skills and no extra tools. It wrote a small program that makes every sound from scratch, and it took about 3 minutes. Claude can’t hear, so it checked the sounds by measuring them. Press play and judge them yourself.
Every sound is also in the sound effects library, where you can search all packs at once. They are free to use in your games, commercial or not.
