What we asked“Make a sound effect pack for a jungle treasure-hunting adventure game: warm, earthy, wooden and full of humid life. Save each sound as a WAV file in a sounds folder, named like this: - vine-swing: A soft airy whoosh for swinging on a jungle vine, rising then falling, about half a second. - machete-slash: A quick bright blade swish with a dry leafy rustle at the end, for cutting through brush. - pickup-idol: A warm wooden marimba-like three-note rising arpeggio for grabbing a golden idol, under one second. - dart-trap: A sharp short puff of air followed by a tiny wooden thunk, for a hidden dart trap firing. - boulder-roll: A deep rumbling roll of a giant stone boulder, low filtered noise that swells, about three seconds. - stone-door: A heavy stone temple door grinding open slowly, low gritty scraping noise, about two seconds. - splash-river: A short watery splash of filtered noise for jumping into a jungle river, about half a second. - hit-wood: A dull hollow wooden knock for the player getting hit, short and soft, under a quarter second. - jungle-bed: A humid jungle background: soft wind in leaves, synthesized chirps and distant clicks, seamless loop of six seconds. - drum-alert: Two quick low tom-like drum hits for a danger warning, punchy and tribal-feeling, under half a second. - treasure-found: A short triumphant jingle of warm wooden mallet tones and a low drum, about two seconds. - quicksand: A slow thick bubbling squelch of low filtered noise for sinking in quicksand, about two seconds. Make them sound like they belong to the same game.”

All 12 sounds are in sounds/ as mono 16-bit, 44.1 kHz WAV files. I checked them by measuring levels and inspecting spectrograms; I haven't listened to them, so give them a listen in-game. You can play any of them with afplay sounds/<name>.wav.

We gave the prompt above to a fresh Claude Code session in an empty folder, with no skills and no extra tools. It wrote a small program that makes every sound from scratch, and it took about 3 minutes. Claude can’t hear, so it checked the sounds by measuring them. Press play and judge them yourself.

Every sound is also in the sound effects library, where you can search all packs at once. They are free to use in your games, commercial or not.
