What we asked“Make a sound effect pack for a fire and lava level: bubbling magma, roaring flames, eruptions and heat. Save each sound as a WAV file in a sounds folder, named like this: - lava-bubble: A thick lava bubble swelling and bursting with a low gloopy pop, under half a second. - lava-pool: A pool of molten lava with slow deep bubbling and gurgles as a seamless loop, about six seconds. - fire-crackle: A crackling fire with steady soft roar and random sharp pops as a seamless loop, about six seconds. - flame-burst: A jet of flame bursting up from a vent, a sudden roaring whoosh that fades in about one second. - fireball: A fireball being thrown, a roaring rushing whoosh with a crackle, about half a second. - fire-hit: A fireball hitting a target, a punchy thump with a burst of crackling sparks. - eruption: A volcano erupting, a huge deep rumbling blast with falling rocks, about three seconds. - rock-crumble: A rock ledge crumbling into lava, a gritty rumbling slide ending in a heavy hiss. - sizzle: Water hitting hot rock, a sharp steaming sizzle that fades over about one second. - burn-hurt: The player touching lava, a short harsh sizzle with a quick descending tone, under half a second. - volcano-rumble: A deep low volcano rumble with distant heavy thuds as a seamless loop, about eight seconds. - ember-pickup: Picking up a glowing ember gem, a warm bright rising chime with a soft crackle, under half a second. Make them sound like they belong to the same game.”

Claude
All 12 sounds are in game/sounds/ as mono 16-bit 44.1 kHz WAV files. I couldn't listen to them, so I checked them with measurements and spectrograms instead. They're worth a listen in-game before you commit to them.

We gave the prompt above to a fresh Claude Code session in an empty folder, with no skills and no extra tools. It wrote a small program that makes every sound from scratch, and it took about 3 minutes. Claude can’t hear, so it checked the sounds by measuring them. Press play and judge them yourself.

Every sound is also in the sound effects library, where you can search all packs at once. They are free to use in your games, commercial or not.
