What we asked“Make a sound effect pack for a calm outdoor exploration game: forests, rivers, meadows and nights, mostly seamless background loops. Save each sound as a WAV file in a sounds folder, named like this: - forest-day: A daytime forest bed with soft leaf rustle and occasional distant synthesized chirps as a seamless loop, about eight seconds. - river: A flowing river with steady babbling water noise and small bubbling details as a seamless loop, about six seconds. - stream-trickle: A small trickling stream, light and bright with tiny liquid gurgles, as a seamless loop about six seconds. - night-insects: Night insects: a bed of high pulsing chirrs and soft clicks as a seamless loop, about six seconds. - meadow-wind: A light wind over open grass with a soft airy rustle as a seamless loop, about eight seconds. - waterfall: A waterfall heard from nearby, a wide deep rushing roar of noise as a seamless loop, about six seconds. - bird-chirp: A short synthesized bird-like chirp made of two quick rising whistles, under half a second. - bird-trill: A synthesized bird-like trill: a fast warbling whistle that wobbles up and down, about one second. - leaf-rustle: A quick rustle of leaves as a bush is pushed aside, a soft burst of crisp noise about half a second. - twig-snap: A dry twig snapping underfoot, one short sharp crack under a quarter second. - splash: A small splash of something dropping into a pond, a soft plop with a short spray, about half a second. - dawn-chime: A gentle rising chime of soft bell tones for morning arriving, warm and calm, about two seconds. Make them sound like they belong to the same game.”

What happened

Claude
I've made all 12 sounds and saved them as WAV files in sounds/. I checked them with measurements only, not by listening, so give them a listen in-game before you lock them in.

We gave the prompt above to a fresh Claude Code session in an empty folder, with no skills and no extra tools. It wrote a small program that makes every sound from scratch, and it took about 2 minutes. Claude can’t hear, so it checked the sounds by measuring them. Press play and judge them yourself.

Every sound is also in the sound effects library, where you can search all packs at once. They are free to use in your games, commercial or not.
