What we asked“Make a sound effect pack for a physics sandbox toy game: bounces, rolls and slides of rubber, wood, metal and glass objects. Save each sound as a WAV file in a sounds folder, named like this: - rubber-bounce: A small rubber ball bouncing once: a springy hollow boing-like thump, very short. - rubber-roll: A rubber ball rolling on a hard floor as a seamless loop: a soft dull low rumble, two seconds. - wood-ball-drop: A wooden ball dropping on a table: a clear knock followed by two quicker smaller bounces. - wood-box-slide: A wooden crate sliding across a floor: a rough scraping drag with a woody grind, about one second. - wood-box-tumble: A wooden box tumbling over: two hollow wooden clunks on its corners, under one second. - metal-ball-bounce: A steel ball bouncing on a metal plate: a bright ringing ping with fast shrinking bounces. - metal-ball-roll: A steel ball rolling on metal as a seamless loop: a smooth high whirring rumble, two seconds. - metal-box-hit: A hollow metal box knocking into a wall: a dull clang with a short boxy ring. - glass-ball-tap: A glass marble clicking against another: a tiny high crisp glassy tick, very short. - glass-roll: A glass marble rolling on wood as a seamless loop: a light airy rumble with tiny rattles, two seconds. - glass-box-clink: A small glass cube landing on a hard surface: a bright clink with a short glassy ring. - object-spawn: A new toy object appearing in the sandbox: a quick soft pop with a light bubbly rise. Make them sound like they belong to the same game.”
What happened
We gave the prompt above to a fresh Claude Code session in an empty folder, with no skills and no extra tools. It wrote a small program that makes every sound from scratch, and it took about 2 minutes. Claude can’t hear, so it checked the sounds by measuring them. Press play and judge them yourself.
Every sound is also in the sound effects library, where you can search all packs at once. They are free to use in your games, commercial or not.
