What we asked“Make a sound effect pack for a calm space exploration game: slow, airy, soft synth tones and gentle cosmic beds. Save each sound as a WAV file in a sounds folder, named like this: - deep-space: A soft wide airy drone with slow shimmering tones for drifting through deep space, seamless loop of about eight seconds. - ship-cabin: A quiet low hum of a spaceship cabin with faint machinery, seamless loop of about six seconds. - nebula-shimmer: Gentle glassy sparkling tones fading in and out for a colorful nebula, seamless loop of about six seconds. - thruster-puff: A soft short puff of a small maneuvering thruster, under half a second. - engine-hum: A smooth steady engine hum for cruising between planets, seamless loop of about four seconds. - warp-jump: Jumping to warp: a long rising whoosh that ends in a soft bright burst, about three seconds. - scan-planet: Scanning a planet: a slow sweeping tone with gentle data blips, about two seconds. - discovery: A calm, wondrous chime melody for discovering a new planet, about three seconds. - radio-signal: A faint distant radio signal of soft pulsing beeps under light static, about three seconds. - dock-clamp: A spaceship docking: a muffled metallic clamp with a soft hiss of air, about one second. - star-pickup: Collecting a star fragment: a soft twinkling bell tone, under half a second. - menu-chime: A soft round synth chime for selecting an option on the star map, under a quarter second. Make them sound like they belong to the same game.”

What happened

Claude
All 12 sounds are in sounds/ as 44.1 kHz, 16-bit stereo WAV files. I checked them with measurements only and haven't listened to them, so give them a listen in-game.

We gave the prompt above to a fresh Claude Code session in an empty folder, with no skills and no extra tools. It wrote a small program that makes every sound from scratch, and it took about 3 minutes. Claude can’t hear, so it checked the sounds by measuring them. Press play and judge them yourself.

Every sound is also in the sound effects library, where you can search all packs at once. They are free to use in your games, commercial or not.
