What we asked“Make a sound effect pack for an underwater exploration game: muffled, bubbly, calm and deep. Save each sound as a WAV file in a sounds folder, named like this: - ocean-depth: A deep muffled underwater rumble with soft drifting currents, seamless loop of about six seconds. - bubbles: A small cluster of bubbles rising and popping softly, about one second. - swim-stroke: A soft muffled swish of water for one swim stroke, under half a second. - dive-splash: Diving into water: a splash that turns into a muffled bubbly rush, about one second. - sonar-ping: A clear sonar ping with a long fading echo, about two seconds. - shell-pickup: Collecting a seashell or pearl: a soft watery chime with a bubble, under half a second. - air-refill: Refilling air at an air pocket: a rising bubbly hiss with a bright tone, about one second. - air-low: A gentle pulsing low tone warning that air is running out, about one second. - whale-song: A distant deep sea creature call: a slow low tone that bends up and down, about three seconds. - jellyfish-zap: Touching a jellyfish: a quick watery electric zap, under half a second. - hatch-open: A heavy underwater metal hatch opening with a muffled clunk and bubbles, about one second. - treasure-found: A soft shimmering harp-like arpeggio for finding sunken treasure, about two seconds. Make them sound like they belong to the same game.”

I've made all 12 sounds and saved them as WAV files in sounds/. I checked them by analysing the files (length, levels, brightness, the loop seam), but I haven't listened to them, so give them a listen in-game.

We gave the prompt above to a fresh Claude Code session in an empty folder, with no skills and no extra tools. It wrote a small program that makes every sound from scratch, and it took about 3 minutes. Claude can’t hear, so it checked the sounds by measuring them. Press play and judge them yourself.

Every sound is also in the sound effects library, where you can search all packs at once. They are free to use in your games, commercial or not.
